Kelby German Shepherds has attempted to BUY OFF Ms.Smith and the owner for 500.00 to go away and remove all sites and tributes for Rosie.Her offer to just go away has been denied by both Ms.Smith and the owner.Once again it shows the true nature of this woman trying to protect her poorly run buisness.Kelby GSD has also "finally" contacted the Dept.Of Agriculture after seeing the letter posted here.Her information submitted to the Dept.Of Agriculture was nothing more than more of her lies.She has NEVER tried to come to any agreement at all only the attempt to buy these people off with 500.00 in hopes they would go away,there are emails to post to prove that as well.She states she is being harassed by Ms. Smith which is the furthest from the truth,she just seems to have a problem with people voicing their opinion because only her opinion is what matters.I dont doubt people are giving her a hard time due to her crude behavior in this situation but she knowingly leaves her email address and phone number on her website open for people to get access too.Ms.Smith and the owner have no control over what other people say or do after reading about what has happened here.Everybody has the right to voice their own opinion after all ..this is America.No agreement will ever be made between these parties because of her ignorant attitude and consistant lies.This page will remain here in hopes that people become educated with poor breeders.It is highly recommended that anyone buying a German Shepherd puppy should go through the German Shepherd Dog Club Of America for references..which Kelby German Shepherds is not a member of.The GSDCA is a wonderful organization and have been most helpful during this difficult time and are involved with all the breeders that are a member of their club.Here is a link to highly recommended GSD breeders and their litters..click on link(or copy)and then click on litter announcements.... http://www.gsdca-wda.org/

Educating perspective buyers with the FACTS by providing proof not just rambling, untrue, words like what is posted on Kelby GSD website.She states under her "About Us" Rosie had "A PROBLEM" as you can see Rosie had more than "A PROBLEM".Also, she states she went above and beyond her gaurantee...well if that were the truth these people would not even be going through this until this very day or have had to gone through the Dept.Of Agriculture which the Breeder refused to contact back either to resolve this until seeing the letter posted here.She also states in her "ABOUT US" that Ms.Smith is just a friend of the owner of the dog but leaves out important facts like it was Ms.Smith who contacted Kelby GSD and went through all the proceedings in making the arrangements to purchase Rosie as a a gift for the owner since she lived in Florida.It was ok for Ms.Kurtz to do buisness with Ms.Smith because she saw $$$$$$ at the time.Now all of a sudden she presents Ms.Smith as just a friend of the owner and makes all false accusations on her site involving Ms.Smith's relationship with the dog when she knows damn well it was her who bought the dog.Saved emails can prove this also.She refers to Ms.Smith as a viper when in fact the only REAL VIPER in this story is Kelly Mosby Kurtz.She also leaves this statement on her website.."You can trust a Kelby pup to give you a lifetime of loyalty and friendship and will come back for your next dog. Support after the sale is something we specialize in."Fist off i wouldent exactly call 3 years a lifetime unless thats what she considers a lifetime for her dogs.SUPPORT????? Is she kidding me?She never even bothered to see how Rosie was doing after given her death sentence.Shows how much interest she takes in her pups after she gets $$$$$$$$.1 pup from her is 1 pup too many.She has a page of Rosie's sire Django showing a few pics of his offsprings.Why not Rosie pics?Why not Rosie's xrays too?Let the people see what they are really getting for 1200.00.
Kelby German Shepherds has decided to personally provide misleading information about the purchaser and owner of this dog on her website. The statements she makes in her website are FALSE. This is just another sign of how this "BREEDER" attempts to fool her perspective customers into buying a dog that may wind up in the same condition as this dog. To prove that she has modified her guarantee repeatedly. She continually trys to cover herself from having to back up her "Quality Dogs." Do not be fooled by her wording. A guarantee not backed up is a worthless guarantee no matter how it's written. Her lack of compassion toward one of her very own dogs shows she is only interested in how much $$$$$ she makes, and not for the love of the animals or the breed. These people have nothing to lose in their attempts to educate the public about what has happened to them. I support them fully! It is ashamed a person like this tries to play herself off as a "reputable breeder" when she knows what this dog went through and yet still has bred another litter with the same sire and has only 1 puppy left in the litter. This is a quote from her website"Django makes excellent character in his babies" yea he sure does..such as Hip Dysplasia and cancer.I wish I could contact all the owners and let them know to ask for a full refund. No breeder with any conscience would continue to use dogs for breeding that produce animals with these conditions. The "BREEDER" mentioned is only going to flood the world with more sick dogs. She should stop what she is doing and refund all owners of animals that were from litters of either Jem, or Django since finding out one of their pups had this deadly disease. It is criminal that she knowingly sells puppies from these dogs while knowing deep in her mind they have developed a puppy with such a horrific inherited illness's. She is selling these puppies for $1200.00 each and in the long run, they are not worth a penny if you have to put them down by the time they are 3! If you want a quality German Shepherd Dog, I would recomend contacting the German Shepherd Dog Club of America for references, and check out all breeders through the Department of Agriculture as well as the BBB(Better Business Bureau).
